I've been drawing pretty much from the moment I learned to hold a pencil. I drew a lot of animals back then, and gradually transitioned to sceneries and landscapes. Eventually, I moved on to humanoids. </p>
Around the same time, I began writing stories. Mostly horror -- inspired by Vampire Hunter D (Film, 1985), as well as the 'Goosebumps' and 'Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark' series. I had quite the imagination and would often get into trouble for scaring my younger cousins.
In high school, I added stage makeup and prop making to the list of skills I possessed. I'd found theater and I was obsessed. Eventually, some friends and I began making our own short horror films and posting them on YouTube.
During this period, I was also introduced to D&D, LARP, and The Elder Scrolls IV: OBLIVION. I can recall many weekends spent with friends, making foam swords and dueling at a local park. I was the elf wielding a shaolin spade.
Now-a-days, I am working on a couple of novels: 'La Adrienne' and 'Shadows in the Night', as well as taking on art and custom jewelry commissions. If I'm not doing that, then I'm uploading videos to my YouTube channel: youtube.com/c/KDBryson
If I am not on there, then I'm hanging out on Discord w/ the wonderful guys at Character Crusade. They can be found at: discord.charactercrusade.com and they broadcast several times a month at CouchWarriorTV on YouTube. If you ever get the chance, you should visit there...it's spectacular.
